Who will shoot my wedding?
I am the owner/operator of Marlar and take the personal responsibility of shooting and editing your production.
Why should I use you?
I only use professional cameras, audio, lighting, and editing equipment to maintain an exceptionally high quality product. In my 20
year career I have shot hundreds of weddings along side with broadcast and corporate productions. I use that experience to
produce a dazzling wedding video for you.
Do you shoot in High Definition?
Yes. All projects can be shot with Sony 3 chip HD cameras and mastered in High Definition. From there they are formatted to the
media you need to view whether to Blu-ray or your hard drive .
Will I hear the vows clearly?
Yes. I place 5 microphones throughout the church. One for the celebrant, one for the groom and bride, on the podium for the readings,
one for the music, and an ambient mic for backup.
How long will my video be?
Prior to the event I discuss the options of what length you'd like the video to be, from as short as 15 minutes to as long as 90
minutes.
I have
a friend that has a camera and/or I can get a student from Craigslist for $100.
I often suggest that given the choice of not having a video at all to use this option. However if memories are important to you and
your family, this option will most likely disappoint you. Cinematic inexperience, consumer cameras, inadequate audio, and an
inability of knowing how your day will naturally unfold, really does jeopardize the quality of a once in a lifetime event.
